Do attending authors need to sign up for specific events, or is it assumed that we’ll be at things like the Friday night hops and the author/reader breakfast?
A) No… IF you have purchased a VIP registration and will be attending the entire conference, everything is included in that price.
IF, however, you have purchased a single or two day reader pass and would like to attend one or more of the night events, you will have to purchase those separately.
How do I register for the conference? A) Registration through the InD’Scribe website is selected andpaid for through via EventBrite.

Is my hotel room covered with registration? A) Actually, the reservations for your hotel are done separately and that is something you can handle. However, we’ve secured special convention rates for the conference, so be sure to take advantage of those! But we only have a certain number of rooms blocked, so act fast! Just click the HOTEL INFORMATION tab at the top of the website for more details AND for links to the hotel’s reservation page where you can book your room today!
What is the deadline for registration? A) As of this posting, there is no deadline for registration. Registration is strictly based on availability.
Do authors bring their books for selling/signing with them or is there a way to have them shipped to the hotel?
Authors are responsible for getting their books to the hotel for signing. There will be an address posted on the website soon where author’s can ship their books beforehand if they don’t want to bring them when they come.
Do authors need to bring coverings for their signing tables? Table coverings are provided by the hotel so no tablecloth is required unless the author wants to bring one of their own.
How does the book signing work? This year, the book signing is going to be better than ever! We have set aside all day Saturday as our giant "Reader Rave". There will be all kinds of amazing events and entertainment surrounding the main event - the author book signing! The signing will run Saturday afternoon from 1:00 - 5:00. All author's participating will need to have registered HERE for either a 1/2 table or a full table beforehand and will have the opportunity to set up their tables that morning. Tables may be decorated however the author prefers but large stand-alone banners will be allowed behind the tables only.
Will our books be secure if we leave them in the signing room to go to other events? The book signing will be in the Grand Ballroom and have very distinct times. We will have security in the room throughout all the hours it is opened and the doors will be closed and locked otherwise, so books will be protected at all times!
